/www/wdlinux/mysql/bin/mysqld: unknown variable 'default-character-set=utf8'  默认配置了efault-character-set=utf8就不能启动了

我都修改了这个，为什么还启动不了，已经重启过了

修改的是init.d目录下mysqld这个文件，写少了，楼上正解

    可以修改下/www/wdlinux/init.d/mysqld这个文件
    里面这两行basedir=
                  datadir=
    修改如下
    basedir=/www/wdlinux/mysql
    datadir=/www/wdlinux/mysql/var
    然后再重新试试
